every Tuesday & Thursday from 17-20h, we open our doors for everyone who wants to get their hands into clay
handbuilding only - since throwing on the wheel requires a lot of experience, we can not offer the use of the wheel during the open studio
HOW IT WORKS
You don't need to have any previous experiences - just come by and start your own ceramic project - we don't take reservations. After 2-3 weeks you can glaze your pieces. They will then be fired again and will be ready to get picked up after another 2-3 weeks.
PRICES
8€ per hour, all materials, tools and the first bisque firing are included. The second glaze firing is 1€ per 100g of weight (we weigh your ceramics when you pick them up).
PRIVATE HAND BUILDING WORKSHOPS
We also offer private hand building workshops (min. 10 participants) - just hit us up via mail for further information.
FIRING SERVICE
You can bring your ceramics and we will fire them for you. Firing temperatures are 930°C for bisque firing and 1220°C for glaze firing. Make sure to show us the label of the clay and glaze you used.
Costs are 1€ per 100g (same for bisque and glaze firinig)
